The Joe Dumars Trophy is an NBA award that recognizes players who exhibit outstanding sportsmanship on and off the court. The trophy has been awarded annually since 1996, and it is named after former Detroit Pistons player Joe Dumars. Mike Conley has been a three-time winner of the award, having received it in 2022-23, 2018-19, and 2015-16. Kemba Walker of the Charlotte Hornets was awarded the trophy twice, in 2017-18 and 2016-17. Kyle Korver of the Atlanta Hawks, Jason Kidd of the New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks, and Grant Hill of the Phoenix Suns and Orlando Magic have also won the award in the past.

The first player to receive the Joe Dumars Trophy was Joe Dumars himself, in 1995-96. Other notable players who have won the award include David Robinson of the San Antonio Spurs, Ray Allen of the Seattle SuperSonics, and Elton Brand of the Los Angeles Clippers. The award has been given to players from a variety of teams, highlighting the importance of sportsmanship throughout the league.
