It’s official — the Chicago Bulls are shocking everyone this season.

Through 10 games, the Chicago Bulls sit at 6-4, a far cry from their sluggish 4-6 start last year. And it’s not just about the record — it’s about the vibe. This group looks hungry, connected, and more confident than they’ve been in years.

To break down what’s happening in Chicago, I teamed up with @bdog0698, better known as #1 CHICAGO BULLS FAN🔴⚫️🏀 on X (4.5K followers). He’s one of the most passionate Chicago Bulls fans online — and here’s what he had to say about this team:

“The Chicago Bulls this year will be one of the most promising young teams in the league! The Bulls have gelled under Billy Donovan’s system which is more player movement and team basketball! The Bulls so far are 6-4 which is a good start considering their 4-6 start through 10 games last year and it starts with their offense!

The Bulls last year after the departure of LaVine and DeRozan after All-Star break averaged 121.5 points a game and had a 17-10 record, and a lot of that had to do with the Bulls playing great team ball. So far the Bulls are averaging 119.2 points a game which is 13th in the league and average 29.7 assists a game, which ranks 4th.

They’re doing this without their leading scorer Coby White as well! The play of Josh Giddey this season has really helped the Bulls offense as he’s been the Bulls’ best player so far! He’s upped his production since last year and can be an All-Star caliber player this season!

As far as Coby White, I expect him to pick up right where he left off last year and continue to improve in other areas of his game! The Bulls have the talent to be a Play-In team this year if they keep up their level of play!!”

And honestly… he’s right.

This version of the Bulls is finally playing basketball the Chicago way — tough, fast, unselfish. Billy Donovan’s offense, built around movement and pace, has unlocked something special. They’re finding open shots, defending with pride, and showing flashes of a new era — one led by Coby White, Josh Giddey, and a growing young core.

🔴⚫️ A Look Back: The ChicagoBulls’ Legacy of Reinvention

Chicago’s history is built on reinvention.

The 1990s Chicago Bulls, led by Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, were the gold standard — six rings, dominance, swagger, and global influence. The 2000s Bulls found their fight again with players like Ben Gordon, Luol Deng, and Kirk Hinrich, a gritty squad that embodied the city’s blue-collar energy. Then came the Derrick Rose era — MVP at 22, the youngest ever, electrifying a fanbase and bringing hope of another dynasty.

Now, in 2025, it feels like Chicago’s trying to write the next chapter.

It’s not about superstar glamour — it’s about chemistry and growth. The Bulls have one of the youngest rotations in the league, and they’re proving they can win with team-first basketball.

🏀 What Makes This Team Different

Statistically, this year’s Bulls are better across the board. They’re scoring more, passing more, and playing with a freedom reminiscent of their post-DeRozan/LaVine surge last season. The addition of Josh Giddey has been massive — a 6’8″ playmaker who fits perfectly into Donovan’s motion-heavy offense.

If Coby White returns to form and Patrick Williams continues to develop, Chicago might not just be a Play-In team… they might be something bigger.

Because for the first time in years — the Bulls aren’t just surviving. They’re building.

🧠 Final Thoughts

Big thanks to @bdog0698 (aka #1 CHICAGO BULLS FAN🔴⚫️🏀) for joining me on this one — the Bulls community is alive again, and fans like him are fueling the hype.

Chicago basketball isn’t back to its 90’s dominance yet… but this feels like the start of something. And that’s more than the city’s had in a long, long time.
