The Celtics this season are actually looking beatable, suffering their 4th loss to the number 1 seeded Cavaliers. The main reason was Donovan Mitchell’s perfect 4th quarter, going 6-6, making 4-3 pointers and 4 free-throws to seal the deal 115-111 to win the game for Cleveland vs the defending champions.
The Cavaliers began the season 15-0 before loosing to Boston on November the 19th. And then another loss surprisingly to the Atlanta Hawks, and even started the game not so good vs the Celtics, who did not have Jaylen Brown or Derrick White available.
Darius Garland scored 22 points and Donovan had his 59th 30 point game as a Cavalier, making his second all time in Cavs history in 30 point games, passing World B. Free and Kyrie Irving in the process, but in order to get to number 1, he is going to pass LeBron who has 324 and the number 1 spot.
“But at the end of the day, man, I got to win a ring. This is great. I’m honored. I’m always going to say I’m honored. But you got to find a way to bring the city another championship and that’s the goal.” Said Donovan Mitchell in an interview after the game.
