Ja Morant yet again has been diagnosed with a right shoulder injury. The Memphis Grizzlies have released a statement on the injury, stating it as a grade 1 AC joint sprain, and is currently considered week-to-week.
Ja Morant’s incredible comeback from last season’s injuries and Instagram shenanigans, only playing a handful of games. This season though he is back to doing Morant things, his athletic layups and electrifying dunks and is evolving into a shooter we all know he is.
Ja Morant after 18 games this season is averaging 21.2 points, 7.9 assists and 4.4 rebounds to go along with an impressive 1.1 steals and 0.4 blocks. He is also shooting 45.4% from the field and 32.2% from the field, as well as a career high 83.8% from the free throw line.
Hopefully he can come back very soon and sustain the rest of the season with not many other injuries because it would be a real shame for the Memphis Grizzlies who are on an absolute tear this season with a 22-11 record, being the 2nd best team in the western conference, once again.
