Julius Randle Inks $100M Deal to Stay in Minnesota

The Minnesota Timberwolves are locking in their core for the long run.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, three-time All-Star Julius Randle intends to sign a three-year, $100 million contract with the Timberwolves. The deal includes a player option for the 2027–28 season and follows closely on the heels of Minnesota re-signing 2024 Sixth Man of the Year Naz Reid.

Randle was a huge part of the Wolves’ postseason run, providing interior scoring, rebounding, and toughness alongside Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert. Now, with both Reid and Randle locked in, the Wolves are sending a clear message — they’re running it back with firepower.

With Anthony Edwards ascending and this frontcourt secured, Minnesota is set up for serious Western Conference contention.
