LeBron has once again moved up in the record books, just like he has done his whole career. This time he tied Kyle Korver for 7th most 3-pointers of all time with 2,450 for his career.
Although LeBron lost this game by 27 points, making it the first all-time In season tournament loss for the Lakers, he has once again shown that he is absolutely GOATED, adding another milestone to his 22 year career.
LeBron is averaging the second lowest points per game in his career with 23.3 PPG, the lowest since his rookie season. Along with his points he is also averaging 8.1 rebounds and 9.2 assists and shooting 50.7% from the field.
LeBron already has tallied up 5 triple doubles, and is shooting a career best from 3 pointer with 41.2% of his 3 pointers making it. In his older years his defense has just fallen off, but he is slowly becoming more of a shooter, opting for more shots beyond the arc than usual.
The Lakers as a team have seen incredible improvement since last season. Rather than fighting for a spot in the playoffs in the play-in, they might make it normally with a 11-7 record, good enough for the 5th seed in the west.
And the best part is that they have very few important injuries, according to ESPN, besides Bronny James, who has a Heel injury, everyone in the rotation besides Jaxson Hayes (Ankle) are playing.
So far it’s looking like a good season for all Lakers fans, and as long as the Lakers don’t match up with Denver in the Playoffs for the 95th time in a row, they may make it pretty far.
