The Utah Jazz have been off to a pretty bad start this season, going 4-14, second worst in the Western Conference, they have lost their last 2 games and even worse is that their average point differential is -9.8, third worst in the whole league. Now Lauri Markkanen injured makes them the worst in the league.
Even after stating how bad they really are, now it’s gotten even worse for the Jazz franchise and fans. Former All-Star Lauri Markkanen has been injured after a collision with the giant in San Antonio, Wembanyama.
It all happened in the 4th quarter, and post the collision, Markkanen was seen holding his knee in pain on the ground before being helped to the locker rooms. The end result had the Jazz being eliminated from the NBA cup 128-115.
Jazz Coach Will Hardy confirmed the injury and stated that it was a left knee contusion, we are still not sure that Lauri will be playing in his next game vs the Nuggets.
So far Lauri Markkanen is averaging a total of 20 PPG, 6.5 RPG and 2.2 APG, while shooting incredibly well at 47.6% from the field. But with Markkanen injured, the Jazz will maybe win at most 8 more games.
