According to reports from Shams Charania of The Athletic and Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, veteran forward Danilo Gallinari is on the verge of finalizing a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks. The 35-year-old forward, who has played with seven teams during his 16-year career, is set to reunite with coach Doc Rivers in Milwaukee.

Gallinari, who is a career 38.2% 3-point shooter, is currently making 35.5% of his threes this season in about 15 minutes per game. He had considered several teams, including the LA Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Chicago Bulls, before choosing to sign with the Bucks.

The Italian forward began the 2020-21 NBA season with the Washington Wizards after missing the entirety of last season with a torn left anterior cruciate ligament. He played 26 games off the bench for the Wizards before being traded to the Detroit Pistons on January 14th. However, he only appeared in six games for the Pistons before being waived on February 8th.

Gallinari was originally drafted No. 6 overall by the New York Knicks in the 2008 NBA Draft. Throughout his career, he has averaged 15.2 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.According to reports from Shams Charania of The Athletic and Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, veteran forward Danilo Gallinari is on the verge of finalizing a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks.
