Nets leading scorer Cam Thomas out a month with hamstring strain

The Brooklyn Nets in the last couple years have been pretty much scammed in trades. They lost Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, James Harden, Blake Griffin and most recently Mikal Bridges. All they were left with was a washed up always injured Ben Simmons and their best player Cam Thomas. Of course Cam had to get injured.

Cam Thomas was recently diagnosed with a left hamstring strain and the reevaluation will happen in three weeks. Thomas is having his best season to date, averaging a career highs in all three categories with 24.7 PPG, 3.3 RPG and 3.4 APG, he currently ranks 14th in the whole NBA in scoring.

Even after considering that the Nets lost every all-star in the league, they still have Cameron Johnson and Dennis Schroder to look for help as they fight for playoff contention.

The Nets are only 0.5 games behind the Miami Heat for 6th place in the Eastern Conference with a 8-10 record, even after everyone counted them out of any contention and many believed them to be the worst team in the whole league.

If Cam Thomas can comeback by Christmas time, then the Nets have a solid chance to make it out of the Play-In tournament, although they most likely won’t make it far.
