The Week has come to an end and once again, it is time for the player of the week awards. Everyone has been going crazy such as LaMelo, Nikola, Luka and so many other players, but here are the 2 players the NBA thought should have been rewarded.

Honestly, I don’t know how Harrison Barnes won the Western Conference Player of the week, no disrespect meant but like, he only averaged 22.3 PPG in the week. With Luka averaging 36 PPG, 13 APG, 7 RPG and 3 SPG, or Shai Gilgeous Alexander with 35 PPG.

Even James Harden makes a fair case with all the records and milestones he has set this season, but major congrats to Harrison Barnes. He did lead his team to a 3-0 record and shot 61.8% from the field, so it’s a earnt award I guess.

In the Eastern Conference, the Player of the Week goes to Giannis Antetokoumpo. Giannis led the Bucks to a 4-0 record this week, averaging a monstrous 32.5 PPG, 10.8 RPG and 7.3 APG statline, getting the Bucks out of the bottom of the conference to the top 5 in a fortnight.

Giannis also shot 61.2% from the field and had a monstrous 42 point triple double, with 12 rebounds and 11 assists, winning the game 114-124, I think this game locked him in as the week 5 player of the week.
