Giannis Antetokounmpo has yet another massive game with league high 59 points in win

Giannis Antetokounmpo has posted yet another big game with a monstrous statline of 59 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists as well as 2 steals and 3 blocks to get the Win 127-120 in Overtime vs the Detroit Pistons.

Giannis just came of a 43 point performance vs Boston 2 games ago and back to back 30 point games vs Utah and Cleveland. The Greek Freak is averaging not only a Career-high but league-high 32.9 PPG, along with 11.9 RPG, which is 5th in the league, 6.6 APG, which is 15th and is shooting 60.9% from the field, 5th in the NBA.

From 2020 to now, The Greek Freak has averaged at least 28.1 PPG every season for 6 seasons in a row, as well as 4 seasons in a row averaging 30 points per game. All this contributes to Giannis being named not only an all star every year from 2017, but also on All-NBA first team since 2019.

Giannis is also averaging a career high in assists, but for some reason the defense just isn’t there like it used to be, only averaging 1.4 BPG and 0.5 SPG. From the 2015-16 season till the 2021-22 season, Giannis averaged at least 1 block and steal per game every year, since then has only done it once in 2024.
