Jonathan Kuminga suffers Ankle Injury out indefinitely

The Golden State Warriors will be without one of their key contributors for at least three weeks. Forward Jonathan Kuminga, who exited Saturday night’s game with a sprained right ankle, underwent an MRI that confirmed a significant lateral ankle sprain, the team announced on Sunday.

Kuminga’s absence is a major blow for the Warriors, as the 21-year-old forward has been playing some of the best basketball of his career recently. Averaging 16.9 points per game—second only to Stephen Curry on the team—Kuminga’s offensive consistency has been pivotal. Before his injury, Kuminga logged 13 points in just 15 minutes against their opponent.
