The National Basketball Association (NBA) has fined Chicago Bulls’ center, Andre Drummond, a sum of $15,000 for an inappropriate gesture he made on the court during their match against the Minnesota Timberwolves on February 6th.
The incident took place with just 1:22 remaining in overtime, during the Bulls’ 129-123 victory at the United Center. This announcement was made by Joe Dumars, the Executive Vice President and Head of Basketball Operations, who stated that Drummond’s behavior was unacceptable and in violation of the league’s rules and regulations. Drummond has since apologized for his actions and has promised to be more mindful of his behavior in the future.
