Luka Doncic, to me, has a case for winning the 2025–26 MVP because of his otherworldly impact on offense and his ability to control the game. He consistently stuffs the statsheet at an elite level in points, rebounds, and assists while serving as the clear-cut leader of the Lakers. He continues to put up elite performances in multiple occurrences this season, such as his hit start to the season, his 51-point game, or his recent game-winner vs Denver, as the leading scorer in the NBA and being top 3 in assists per game. Luka’s playmaking creates easy opportunities for teammates and makes the entire Lakers offense more effective. He also delivers in clutch moments, proving he can take over games when it matters most. These factors alone show why, in my personal opinion, Luka Doncic has a case for winning the 2025-26 NBA MVP.
