For Week 7 of the 2024-25 NBA season, Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks and Tyler Herro of the Miami Heat have been named the NBA Players of the Week. Both guards showcased their dynamic playmaking abilities and led their respective teams to successful weeks.

Western Conference: Luka Doncic

Dončić continued to dominate, earning the Western Conference Player of the Week honors with averages of 29.3 points, 11.7 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game. The Mavericks leaned heavily on his offensive brilliance, as he delivered multiple standout performances to keep Dallas competitive in a tightly contested Western Conference race. Luka’s versatility and basketball IQ make him a near-constant triple-double threat, solidifying his reputation as one of the league’s most unguardable players.

Eastern Conference: Tyler Herro

Tyler Herro earned the Eastern Conference Player of the Week award by posting averages of 25.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game. The Heat guard played a pivotal role in Miami’s success, demonstrating his ability to score at all three levels while creating opportunities for his teammates. Herro’s development as a primary playmaker has elevated Miami’s offense, and his consistency is proving vital in the Heat’s playoff push.
