Mercy Miller, a 4-star recruit and Houston commit, continues to make headlines in the basketball world. Recently, he scored a whopping 68 points, setting a new school record, in a game against Oakwood, leading Notre Dame High School to a 104-44 victory. And he didn’t stop there. In the first round of the Big Valley Classic tournament, Miller scored 17 points, dished out 10 assists, and grabbed four rebounds to help Notre Dame beat Marshall 94-24.
Miller, who is the son of rapper, producer, and record executive Master P, is ranked as the No. 93 overall prospect in the 2024 class by 247Sports’ composite rankings. He is also the No. 18 shooting guard and No.11 overall player in California. Standing at 6’4” and weighing 180 pounds, he is known for his speed, agility, and impressive ball-handling skills.
Notre Dame High School, which is currently ranked 47th in MaxPreps’ national rankings, will now advance to the tournament quarterfinals to play Hart. Miller’s performances have caught the attention of college coaches and basketball enthusiasts alike, and there’s no doubt that he has a bright future ahead of him in the sport.
