All Flagerant Fouls So Far In Game 5 Of The Knicks-Spurs Series

This game has not only been the worst shooting game I have ever watched in the NBA Finals, but the fouls and turnovers seem to be a factor of the exhaustion and pressure placed on all the players, as this is the 1st time for every single player playing in these types of moments.

The 1st call was against De’Aaron Fox, when he decided to shove Josh Hart when he was going up from a layup, leading to Scott Foster, the lead of the NBA referees tonight, to upgrade the call to a Flagrant, which led to a 5 Point play for the New York Knicks after Josh Hart made the near impossible layup.

The next call was quite similar to the De’Aaron Fox call, but this time it was the San Antonio Spurs on the receiving end. Victor Wembanyama was driving for a dunk; he not only made the dunk, but he was also shoved from behind by Mitchell Robinson. This play led to a 4-point play after a Julian Champaigne 3-pointer.

The last play was not called for a flagrant foul, but in the post-game L2M reviews, many, including myself, believe this could be upgraded to something much more serious, as he was not even called for a foul. Jalen Brunson got mad after Wemby stepped into his zone and put his already vulnerable ankle at risk, yelling at the refs about it.

The Spurs have been cooking in this game, but the Spurs and the Knicks have not been able to shoot well from the field at all, with both teams shooting under 40% from the field.
